A classic mambo from the timeless Tito Puente album Dance Mania, "Mambo Gozon" is a great example of Bobby's ability to provide infallible support while subtly interacting with the band. He has a very distinguishable ability to outline the form by changing his line to match the changes in sections. His rhythmic variations jump out of the bass line to interact with the vocalists or horn players. Even though this is an old album, Bobby's playing sound fresh and exciting.
