These two short solo breaks are good examples of Cachao's style across two different rhythmic genres. The first solo, Mi Melodia can be found on the album Latin Jazz Descarga, recorded by the Miami supergroup Walpataca. This is a Cha-Cha-Cha and features all four members taking short solos. The second piece is one of the first descargas: Descarga Numero Dos from the Chico O' Farill album Los Mejores Musicos de Cuba. This is a great solo and an incredible piece of history.
