Weinstein on NPR This Weekend & Free Chembo Concert!
LJC Best Latin Jazz Flautist of 2007 Mark Weinstein will be featured this Saturday, February 9th, on National Public Radio’s “Weekend Edition.” He’ll be doing an interview that will cover both his overall career and his future projects. I’m sure they’ll be playing some music along the way too! Weinstein contributed strongly to the Latin Jazz and Salsa scene in the late 1960s and early 1970s; I’m sure that he’s got some great stories. From the classic Cuban Roots to his current Con Alma, Weinstein consistently delivers outstanding Latin Jazz; this is a must-hear interview!
Times vary between local NPR stations, so find the broadcasting schedule in your area HERE.
