Tomas Pena over at Jazz.com published an interview with pianist Elio Villafranca this past week. It’s got lots of great information about Villafranca’s training in Cuba, his transition into the States, and his current album, The Source In Between. Check it out HERE.

Ted Gioia from Jazz.com delivered a blog post on the Tito Puente Complete 78s, Volume 1 this past week. Not only does he talk about the album, but also looks at it historically. Check it out HERE
